Japan 1-2 England: Two own goals give England unconvincing win

World Cup favourites England have narrowly defeated Asian giants Japan 2-1 in an international friendly. Japan gave Fabio Capello's side a scare when they took the lead through Marcus Tulio Tanaka as early as the seventh minute, but Tulio and Yuji Nakazawa scored own goals in the second half.

The story is too old to be commented.

It doesnt matter at all. A friendly doesnt count. Its the world cup that matters!

The circumstances was equal for both teams. It might rain in South Africa as well. England needs to performe on any grass if they should have chances. Still, a trainee against Japan doesnt say anything about the team.
