Kewell backs Socceroos to advance

Harry Kewell remains adamant Australia can still reach the next phase of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ despite the humiliating 4-0 loss to three-time winners Germany in their opening group game.

Kewell insisted morale remains high ahead of Saturday's must-win match against Ghana in Rustenberg, where even a draw against the African side, who beat Serbia 1-0 in the other match played so far in Group D, would all but end the Socceroos' hopes of reaching the knockout stages.

I'm surprised this far in the tournament. It's very open. Feels like anything can happen. I hope that it will not be like EC in 2004
