Only a few hours after many of them closed, some Sacramento bars and pubs opened at 6:00 a.m. Friday in preparation for the World Cup soccer match between the United States and Slovenia.
Before the 7:00 a.m. kickoff to the crucial game, it was already a standing room-only scene at de Vere's Irish Pub in midtown Sacramento.
Local intrest is growing :P
It's great that Americans Soccer fans are growing rapidly, it will only do good for the sports and for the Americans themselves as i'm sure they would be glad that their team participated in a real World Series, for once.
America should of won that game.
Same old US. They did deserve to win though.
