Yahoo Sports: Landon Donovan spoke of the “cruelty” of the World Cup after he and his United States teammates were left devastated by their defeat to Ghana on Saturday night.
“We all share in this,” Donovan said. “Soccer is a cruel game sometimes. One minute you are on top of the world, the next minute you are at the bottom of the mountain.”
