Controversy over England’s disallowed ‘ricochet off the crossbar – behind the line’ goal in their 4-1 World Cup loss to Germany, and Argentina’s ‘offside’ goal against Mexico has sparked fresh calls for video technology to be introduced.
(Argentina, England, FIFA World Cup, Germany, Industry, International, Mexico, South Africa)
I'm not sure about adding video replay since that might eat up time
But I'm all for adding another ref near each goal like the Europa league has (I think it was Europa at least)
aphxl i think the referees are human beings too,So there is room for mistakes and we should except this. I don't think the technology could help to sort this out.
I knoe but there are just too many mistake, it have been 2 time in two games in the most important game, if this happen in the Final it could be a war lol
I don't buy that excuse. Cameras embedded onto the bottom of the crossbar and the insides of the to determine if the ball's crossed the line wouldn't help to determine if a goal was a goal? That would be clear as day.
How many goals or non-goals do they miss in hockey these days?
A ref behind each goal that's just watching the ball and the line.
That's pretty fancy technology.

It WORKS. USE IT.
