World Cup 2010: FIFA President Sepp Blatter Dismisses Introduction Of 'Penalty Goals'

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has rejected any notion that 'penalty goals' will be introduced in the wake of Luis Suarez's handball against Ghana that cost the Black Stars a place in the semi-finals of the World Cup.

The story is too old to be commented.

"Penalty goals" are a dumb idea. Suarez's save didn't cost the Ghanaians a spot in the semis, Gyan, and the two guys who missed PKs in the shootout did.

PKs are already an acceptable reward for this kind of thing, if you can't get the PK then it's your own damn fault
