Chelsea hitman Didier Drogba is pleased to finally be pain free for the first time in six years after undergoing off-season surgery.
The Ivory Coast international had the groin operation to help alleviate his long-term hernia injury during the summer and is still attempting to return to full fitness ahead of the new Premier League season.
Drogba appeared in the Blues 3-1 defeat to Manchester United in the Community Shield on Sunday, coming on as a second-half substitute as he continues to work his way back.
The 32-year-old won the Golden Boot last season, scoring 29 goals in helping Chelsea win the Premier League title, and the Ivorian is pleased to finally be over his hernia problem.
Wait a match or two. Drogba will start complaining about something else. Its his attitude to be injured for something, of course playing and complaining. Its all in his mind. Worst player attitude ever!
