New Brazil coach Mano Menezes called up 10 new faces for the international friendly with USA tomorrow and included a number of surprising names in his squad. Alongside Ganso, Neymar and Rafael, 24-year-old Lyon midfielder Ederson also received a call-up for the Selecao, much to his own surprise.
"The coach called to find out how I was physically because the season hasn’t even started in Europe. He didn’t tell me I was going to be in the squad though, and I only found out when the list was announced," said Ederson to fifa.com.
