The Red Knights, the group of wealthy individuals aiming to buy Manchester United, have recruited wealthy anchor investors from overseas as they maintain their bid to oust the Glazer family from Old Trafford.
Goal.com UK can reveal that multi-millionaire businessmen, including some from the Middle-East and Asia rich enough to own the club outright, have joined the consortium in recent months with a view to buying a chunk of the club.
In total, around 30 to 40 investors make up the Red Knights and insiders say the composition of the group is a fluid one.
