The Turin side were forced to play a game behind closed doors last year after their supporters aimed racial chants at the 20-year-old when he was playing for Inter. After the clubs were drawn in Group A of the competition with Lech Poznan and Red Bull Salzburg, the issue of a repeat of the behaviour has appeared.
General secretary Gianni Infantino confirmed after the draw was made that Juventus will be punished if they cannot control their fans.
He said: "They know that our disciplinary bodies are watching. There will be sanctions if racism is used.
"UEFA have a zero tolerance to racism. No one is getting away with anything do to with racism."
