Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez heaped praised on his players after seeing them beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
Despite being on the backfoot for most of the game, Wigan came away with the win as striker Hugo Rodallega scored the only goal of the game 10 minutes from time to secure the Latics' first points of the Premier League season.
