England captain Steven Gerrard has revealed his delight after beating Switzerland 3-1 in the Euro 2012 qualifier at St Jakob Park.
Wayne Rooney, Adam Johnson and Darren Bent were all on the scoresheet for Fabio Capello’s men as they held onto top spot in Group G.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Gerrard praised England’s first half display and said the Three Lions “tore Switzerland apart”.
