Theo Walcott has left Arsene Wenger breathing a sigh of relief after his England injury turned out to be a minor ankle knock.
The Arsenal man was stretchered off for England in Switzerland after being crocked by Yves Oehri in the build-up to Wayne Rooney's opener.
The injury looked serious at first and Wenger must have feared a new jinx after it was revealed that Robin van Persie was out for six weeks after his ankle knock at Blackburn blew up.
But England boss Fabio Capello said last night: "I just spoke with Theo. He tells me it’s not such a big problem. I said: ‘Two weeks?’ He told me less."
