Peter McGlynn scored two minutes into the second overtime period and 17th-ranked UC Santa Barbara edged the UC Davis men's soccer team 2-1 Saturday night in a Big West Conference matchup at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif.
The match was the league opener for UC Davis who moves to 2-7 overall and 0-1 in the Big West with the loss, the Aggies' fifth straight. UC Santa Barbara is now 4-3-2 on the year and move to 1-1 in conference action.
