It’s official. The new professional indoor soccer franchise for the St. Louis Metropolitan area is Illinois Piasa (pie-a-saw). Illinois Piasa will play in the Professional Arena Soccer League for the 2010/11 season. Illinois Piasa was preceded by their affiliate, Piasa FC, who has competed for the past three seasons in the PASL-Premier. Both Illinois Piasa and Piasa FC will play their home games at SFF Arena in Pontoon Beach, IL. PASL-Pro/Premier schedules are soon to be released.
