Stopper insists reports are true
Aalesunds goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has confirmed Manchester United are in the hunt for his signature.
Lindegaard, 26, has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford as successor to Edwin van der Sar. The Denmark international had been rumoured to have been watched numerous times by goalkeeping coach Eric Steele in preparation for a €4.5 million January bid.
Speaking to Tipsbladet, Lindegaard revealed United's interest was concrete.
He said: "There are a lot of rumours in the press about the clubs interested in me, but some of them are actually quite accurate. And yes, it is Manchester United.
"I know there is interest from United...it is not just coming from the press."
