Despite rumours that VfB Stuttgart may be looking for a replacement for coach Christian Gross, the Swiss has the backing of Timo Gebhart.
VfB Stuttgart may be dead last in the Bundesliga after their worst start in over 30 years, but their midfielder Timo Gebhart has come out in support of head coach Christian Gross. The winger praised the former Basel and Spurs gaffer as the best manager he has worked under.
"The fans should be getting on the backs of the players. We have the responsibility to bear. Christian Gross is the best coach that I have had," Gebhart told Stuttgarter Nachrichten.
"We have to put into practice what the coach has asked us to do."
Meanwhile, former Stuttgart coach Markus Babbel has added his voice to those calling for the club not to keep constantly changing coaches. He remarked that a club cannot be successful if they have a new coach every season.
