David Villa has officially drawn levelled with Raul to become Spain's all-time leading goalscorer with 44 goals to date, but will move ahead of the Schalke forward by virtue of goals-to-game ratio.
'El Guaje' netted for La Furia Roja in the 44th minute against Scotland in Tuesday evening's Euro 2012 qualifier from the penalty spot to bag his 44th goal in just 68 appearances (0.64 average), compared to 102 for Raul (0.43).
