Sergio Ramos reckons it will be 'difficult' for him to face Malaga this weekend as he recovers from injury.
Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has claimed that it will be ‘”difficult” for him to take to the field at la Rosaleda this weekend when his side face Malaga, as he battles to recover from an ankle injury.
The full-back picked up a knock in the warm-up while on international duty for Spain in their 3-2 win at Hampden Park on Tuesday evening, but was deemed fit enough to complete the 90 minutes.
The player complained of discomfort after the match, and his development is being closely monitored by los Blancos’ club doctors, who examined him yesterday afternoon.
Speaking on his Twitter site, Ramos spoke negatively regarding his chances of participating in the match, saying: “It will be difficult for me to by ready for the match in Malaga. I will try to recover as soon as possible, but it is a very annoying injury.”
