Sporting Lisbon are reportedly preparing a winter transfer bid for Birmingham City forward Nikola Zigic.
The Serbian international only joined the Blues during the summer from Valencia, but has failed to make an impact in the English Premier League, according to Sky Sports.
He only scored his first league goal on the weekend against Arsenal, as the side went down 2-1 at St Andrews Park.
The Portuguese side have allegedly been in touch with Zigic's agent in regards to a possible deal being done in January. Sporting were interested in the 30-year-old during the summer, but were unable to capture the player's signature.
