Argentine needs a break, says manager
Roberto Mancini has admitted that he would like to give his skipper Carlos Tevez a rest when Manchester City lock horns with Lech Poznan.
The Polish club visit Eastlands in a Europa League group game on Thursday, and the Italian believes that the Argentine needs the rest.
Tevez had only recently conceded that he was considering quitting football, but the former Inter boss later maintained that the striker was not going end his career.
"I would like to rest Carlos," said Mancini, according to the Daily Star.
"He has played a lot of games and when he goes with Argentina it is difficult.
