Two Liverpool fans have been hospitalised in Naples after violence broke out ahead of Thursday's Europa League match, it has been confirmed.
The Reds face Napoli on Thursday night in the Europa League at San Paolo, and a large contingent of fans have travelled to the Italian city. Naples police have revealed four different incidents throughout Wednesday, with one Liverpool fan hospitalised after they were stabbed.
Three other incidents of bottle throwing have also been reported, with one involving tourists and the others Liverpool fans. One person has also been hospitalised following those events.
This was ugly. The Barowner was attacked as well, while he tried to calm down the attacking Italians.
