Ancelotti 'very happy' as Blues go five points clear at top

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed happiness that his side are now five points clear in the race to the Premier League title, having just beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He was, however, unhappy that his were unable to kill the game off despite having several chances to do so.

The hosts began the game in a sluggish manner, but soon settled down to draw first blood as Florent Malouda opened the scoring.

But the Blues had some difficulty doubling their lead, and the gaffer conceded that his side should have been more clinical in the attacking third of the pitch.

The story is too old to be commented.
