Before England played Hungary in August, the Italian coach said Beckham was "too old" to play for his country again adding that the time was right to inject a little youth into the squad.
Reacting to Capello's comments, Beckham released a statement saying he would always be available for England, and, in the aftermath of winning the US title with the LA Galaxy on Sunday, has once again confirmed his availability to help England's Euro 2012 campaign.
