Pep Should Succeed Me

Sir Alex Ferguson wants Barcelona head coach Pep Guardiola to succeed him at Manchester United despite his relatively young age, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

The Scot has refused to set another retirement date since his abortive attempt in 2001-02 and spoke this week of the need for a vastly experienced boss to succeed him.

Although this would seem to rule out the 39-year-old Spaniard, his Champions League and Primera Division winning success with Barca is reported to have impressed the Old Trafford hierarchy.

Ferguson giving cred like that is not a thing that happens evry day. I would love him to take over for Ferguson when he quits- but cant see it happen.

with messi, xavi, iniesta, villa, pedro, puyol , pique and soon to be fabregas in your team its not really that hard to be a half decent manager and get results. i'd like to have seen him manage an average team and be successful first.

Yup the job is easier but there is also more pressure on you to get results he defenitaly has the character but not expierenced enough to take over at United and secondaly he wont leave Barca for a long time

1st Of All : Barca Ain't that stupid to let him go
2nd : Just like you said above barca have one of the best teams and the best youngsters in the world so any manager can win what pep did...I would like to see him win the champions league with porto just like mourinho did and see if he's really a talented manages so AFTER THAT he can go to manchester united
