I Have No Problem Leaving Barcelona If Contract Offer Is Unsuitable - Defender Dani Alves

Barcelona full-back Daniel Alves will consider moving on from the Camp Nou if the club do not agree to his wage demands.

Barcelona full-back Daniel Alves has claimed that he is hopeful of signing a new deal at the Camp Nou very soon, but admitted that the club are still some way from meeting his demands, and he would consider a move elsewhere if they cannot reach an agreement.

The Brazilian joined the Blaugrana for a fee of €32 million in 2008 and his current deal expires in the summer of 2012, however the club have made it clear that they want Alves to remain at the club until 2015, and have submitted an offer to the player’s agent.

Despite several rounds of discussions, a deal has yet to be agreed, but the defender is confident that the club will be able to eventually table what he believes he is worth.

The story is too old to be commented.
