Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has dismissed suggestions he has placed a £20million price tag on the head of midfielder Jordan Henderson.
The 20-year-old academy graduate has won rave reviews for his performances in the Barclays Premier League since emerging from the ranks last season, and his role in England Under-21s' European Championship play-off victory over Romania last month has alerted a wider audience to his talents.
Woww...Even If he didn't dismisse it 20M for an unproven player is way 2 high
just saw a video of him...very promising
i've some of him and i dont see what all the fuss is about. hes neat and tidy in midfield, gets stuck in, doesnt have a tremendous amount of pace but isnt slow, i saw him play againts blackburn and his long range passing could be better but thats just one game. i think has got some raw talent but he needs some work.
£20 mil i dont know but i suppose thats the going rate for talented english players since there're aren't a lot coming through.
