Real Madrid turned their fortunes around in the second half against Hercules, coming from behind to win 3-1. Coach Jose Mourinho was delighted with his team's mental response but remains focused for now on just taking three points.
Angel Di Maria turned in a rebound after Cristiano Ronaldo's shot was too hot for the Hercules keeper to handle, and it was then the latter who scored twice to continue his blistering scoring streak.
"We dominated the entire second half from start to finish, they never posed a threat, Iker Casillas was never called into action. Our goals arrived on the back of our control and possession," Mourinho told the press after the game.
