Liverpool’s new owner John W Henry has admitted that it was a surprise to Roy Hodgson when Damien Comolli was appointed director of football strategy at Anfield.
Comolli, who held a similar role at Tottenham from 2005 to 2008, will work closely with Hodgson after Henry decided to bring in the Frenchman earlier this week.
Henry, owner of the New England Sports Ventures (NESV) group that bought Liverpool last month, explained that Hodgson will need to have his transfer targets approved before moving into the market.
This is good news for Livepool when finacial fair play be introduced we will have best young players again :P
