PSV tactician Fred Rutten has has hinted the Dutch giants could be considering an appeal over the red card shown to striker Jonathan Reis against Utrecht.
Reis was given his marching orders in the 33rd minute for elbowing Alje Schut, leaving his side to play with ten men for the remainder of the match.
"I feel that he has been severely punished, after seeing the replay," Rutten revealed post-match to FCUpdate.nl. "It is a very real option to appeal against a potential sentence.
Rutten is interested to see how he handles the suspension should the appeal fail.
