Serie A players have confirmed their intention to strike after the Lega Serie A (Italian football league) rejected the FIGC's proposal to limit discussions over the collective contract agreement to six points.
A perpetual battle between the AIC (Italian Players Association) and Lega Serie A has rumbled on since the start of the season when initial strike action was averted.
Players are still unhappy about the Lega's proposals to redesign rules in relation to squad exclusions and transfers. The AIC are at odds with the Lega, who have not yielded despite intervention from the Italian FA.
And with the two sides reaching another tension point, the players have been first in throwing down the guantlet.
they are going to strike for the last 3 years
Every year it's the same and they do NOTHING
Serie A is not looking good.
