U.S. women's national team manager Pia Sundhage added veterans Lindsay Tarpley and Leslie Osborne to the 24-player roster on Thursday for the opening match of the two-legged playoff with Italy for a 2011 FIFA World Cup berth.
The U.S. visits Italy on Nov. 20 for the first match of the series, which will determine the final berth from CONCACAF and Europe in next summer's tournament in Germany.
