Juventus have suffered a major setback in their quest to sign Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian giants can only offer €40 million (£33.9m) for the 24-year-old Bosnian, while Wolfsburg are demanding more. With financial superpowers Manchester City especially interested in a move for Dzeko, as Goal.com UK exclusively revealed last week, the Turin side may be priced out of a deal.
However, rumours are also suggesting that Dzeko has already been promised to Bayern Munich, and will make his transfer next summer.
