Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney insists that he was not nervous while taking the decisive penalty during the recent Champions League tie against Rangers.
The 25-year-old was making his first start for the club since early October, and managed to score the game's only goal - albeit from the spot - to help his side qualify for the last 16 of the tournament.
And despite his absence, the former Everton forward maintained that he didn't feel nervous before taking the spot-kick late on.
"There were not many nerves really," Rooney told reporters.
