John Terry may make his return to Chelsea for Saturday’s home game against Everton, whereas Frank Lampard faces a longer wait.
According to The Guardian, former England captain Terry has been in training with the team at Cobham after undertaking a vast amount of physiotherapy in London and Milan to ‘relax the piriformis muscle which has been troubling his sciatic nerve’.
The 29-year-old was concerned he wouldn’t return for another few months after suffering the injury, but the club are hoping his return may pull them out of their recent dip in form only racking up one win in five Premier League games.
