According to a report in O Jogo, highly rated wing-back Fabio Coentrao has attracted the interest of Spanish champions Barcelona with his good performances for Benfica in the past couple of months.
The Catalans aren't completely satisfied with the performances of Eric Abidal at left-back and are therefore looking to add a new full-back to their squad. Sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta reportedly sees Coentrao as the perfect signing for the Blaugrana.
