Martin Jol is believed to be willing to hold talks with Newcastle United over succeeding Chris Hughton.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager quit his position at the Dutch club within hours of Hughton's sacking, and is thought to be in pole position to be appointed at St James' Park.
