Sunderland's Asamoah Gyan Named BBC African Footballer Of The Year 2010

Ghana and Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan has been voted BBC's African Football of the Year after receving more than half of the votes.

The Black Stars talisman beat the likes of Chelsea's Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure of Manchester City, Inter's Samuel Eto'o and countryman Andre Ayew, who plays for Marseille.

The story is too old to be commented.
