Tottenham are set for a mammoth offer from Real Madrid for highly rated youngster Gareth Bale. Jose Mourinho has set his sights on the Welsh international and is ready to make a move worth £60m in the hope that Harry Redknapp will relent and allow the former Southampton man to leave.
Mourinho is ready to sanction a bid that would include a cash offer of around £35m plus the choice of a number of the club’s squad players. The stars in question would include the likes of Lassana Diarra, Karim Benzema and Esteban Granero all players that could serve Redknapp well if he decided to cash in on Bale.
