I can't believe how many times Messi has to prove something to make things more clear.
Even if Messi keeps scoring the way he does for the next 3 seasons and keeps assisting team-mates with the same momentum as now, the "journalists" would still compare the two.
Everytime the two faces each other, Ronaldo disappears, Messi mesmerizes. He missed a penalty against Barca. He hasn't scored against Barca in 6 outings. Messi has scored twice against Ronaldo's team and he has assisted 2 times against Ronaldo's team. When Ronaldo faces Barca, he flops. I'm not saying that won't change, but it definitely is the case as of now.
