Manchester United Manager Sir Alex Ferguson Rules Out Michael Owen Loan Move

Owen will remain at Old Trafford, says Fergie...

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has clarified that striker Michael Owen will not be offloaded on loan in January.

Owen has struggled with injuries for much of his United career and is currently recovering from a hamstring pull. The English striker has been linked with a move out of Old Trafford in January but Sir Alex is impressed with the 31-year-old in training and doesn't want him to leave.

The story is too old to be commented.
