Bhoys leave it late, Gers win

Celtic left it late to beat St Johnstone 2-0 on Boxing Day, SPL leaders Rangers mauled Motherwell 4-1 and Aberdeen won 2-1 at Hibernian.

Kenny Miller brought his tally to 22 goals so far this season as Rangers claimed their first Scottish Premier League win at Motherwell in almost four years in style.

Fir Park had not been a happy hunting ground in recent seasons but a double from Miller, an own goal from Steven Saunders and a Vladimir Weiss strike sealed the win, with John Sutton's goal a mere consolation for Well.
