Anfield boss allays fears over skipper's injury
Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has moved quickly to allay any fears over a potential injury to captain Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard has been out of action since picking up an injury on international duty in November and the Reds skipper was seen holding his calf during the second half of Wednesday’s shock home defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Hodgson has ruled out any long term effects and has also explained why he didn’t bring his skipper off.
Gerrard or no Gerrard, Liverpool has a big problem. A problem which needs to be resolved immediately.
How can they lose so many games? It's halfway up the season and we have already seen inconsistency from them.
I don't believe they can win anything this season. Not even the Europa League cup.
New owners have a big job to do! Many changes must be done:
1. New stadium!
2. 3 or 4 new class players
3. new manager with a lot of experience.
4. Not selling: Reina, Gerrars and Torres, but built a new team around them.
