The five key areas where Arsenal vs Manchester City will be won and lost

For Arsenal and Manchester City, third and second respectively, the Wednesday night clash at the Emirates signifies more than just a chance to steal a march in the title race.

Arsene Wenger's side will be looking to cement their belief that they can win the biggest matches against top opponents, following on from a 3-0 win (albeit against 10 men) at Eastlands earlier in the season and more recently the 3-1 demolition of Chelsea.

Manchester City are in perhaps their best form of the season and victory in London will go some way to proving that they have the mentality to sustain their title bid, just a day after a training ground brawl between Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor - the second at Carrington in a matter of weeks.

Being two sides that play attractive football, there is a fear that they could cancel each other out, but it is their differences that will dictate the outcome.

I'm going for an City win.

God_Of_Epicness4852d ago

Same. City just seems to be better than Arsenal and if Tevez is on his game, we're in for a very exciting match.

I'm just sad the kick-off time has to be so late. Where I live, it'll kick off at 3:45am. Darn!

I guess you are right. They are the best team in the PL when it works out for them. Problem is that they are not stabile.

MasterGuru4852d ago

I think you meant that they are not consistent and that is without doubt true.

Yeah I agree. 4-5 seasons ago they were d same. I thought they were gonna win the EPL (they were 1st place for quite a few games when Thaksin first came in) but in the end, one team prevailed: Manchester United.

I think Arsenal will win this. City did the double last year, and I think Arsenal will do it this time around...

God_Of_Epicness4852d ago

I disagree. Arsenal does not have what it takes to win anything... After all, they have proved that for the last 5-6 seasons..
