Messi MUST win this year. He was the one who performed when all others didn't. If it wasn't for Messi, Barca would not have won anything this year whether you accept that or not. Xavi is a great player, Iniesta too, but Messi is from another world. His contributions to Barca are incomparable.
I'm rooting for Messi.
This article says it all. Xavi must win. He along with Sneijder were the best performers of 2010. Messi and Iniesta don't deserve such an award.
