For the first time in 21 years, the much-coveted FIFA Ballon d'Or prize has been utterly dominated by a single club. In 2010, football should rightly recognise Barcelona as the finest side in the world, and this year's award identifies the talents of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi as the archetypal proponents of the beautiful game in all its glory.
