Harry Redknapp insists that Tottenham are still trying to carve out a loan move for David Beckham.
Spurs announced on Sunday that the former England captain would only be training with the club, but the former Portsmouth boss believes that a deal could still be possible, as the 35-year-old is set to report at White Hart Lane on Monday.
"We hope it could still happen," Redknapp said, according to the Daily Mail.
"The situation is ongoing. It's being done above my head."
The initial view concerning the potential move was that insurance costs for a temporary move may not have represented value for money when it came to striking a deal with LA Galaxy.
