Tottenham Urge Supporters To Back Olympic Stadium Move With Promise It Will Save Club £200m

Tottenham’s radical proposal to demolish the Olympic Stadium and build a 60,000-capacity venue in its place is £200 million cheaper than redeveloping White Hart Lane, the architect in charge of designing the two projects revealed today.

The story is too old to be commented.

I`ve been at White Hart Line and liked the atmosphere there. It must be great playing here. For me it sounds strange that a new build stadium will be cheaper than redeveloping White Hart Lane....

They will not have to pay for the building of the new Stadium. They'll take over it after the Olympics are done in 2012. And they can sell off WHL to get some money off it, like Arsenal did with Highbury square.
