According to the reports, Chelsea have made a final bid for David Luiz around £20m which would also include the veteran defender Ferriera,as a part of the deal.This could be Benfica's last chance to make some money this January ,as they are looking desperately for some funds to reignite their poor start to the season.
With Alex injured and the defence not at their usual best, this 23 year old could be the ideal long term solution to Chelsea's worries.
