Hamburg striker Ruud van Nistelrooy was delighted with his team's performance following Saturday's 1-0 Bundesliga victory over Schalke.
"We have won very deservedly," he told ZDF. "It was not good, but we still played better [than Schalke]. We did not play well on the counter, otherwise we would have won this 3-0 or 4-0."
